HOLIDAY HOUSE

Porthilly Brook is a detached 2-storey house which offers a spacious, comfortable, centrally heated and well equipped home from which to base your holiday. It sleeps 9 although 8 would feel more comfortable. It has a large kitchen/dining room; a sitting room which leads onto a south facing terrace with garden furniture plus two bathrooms and four bedrooms. There is also a utility room equipped with washing machine and dryer plus a further shower room for use by those salt and sand covered bodies! The garden is sheltered, safe and enclosed by wooden fencing and gates with rural views of the surrounding farmland and there is ample parking. Porthilly Brook is a short walk to Porthilly beach. It is quietly situated at the end of a private road on the outskirts of Rock.

DOWNSTAIRS SITTING ROOM with comfortable sofas and chairs plus colour TV, video and hi-fi system and a log burning stove.

KITCHEN fully equipped with microwave, cooker, dishwasher etc

DINING ROOM leading off the kitchen with views over garden and fields beyond

BATHROOM with shower and WC

BEDROOM 1 with twin beds

BEDROOM 2 with one bunk bed and a single bed

UPSTAIRS MAIN BEDROOM 3 with double bed BATHROOM ensuite with bath and hand held shower and WC

BEDROOM 4 with twin beds

UTILITY ROOM with washing machine and tumble dryer as well as another shower for use on return from beach and a WC

OTHER FACILITIES fully central heated; all beds are supplied with duvets and blankets for extra warmth; ample parking; terrace garden with patio furniture overlooking the lawn; pay phone

AMENITIES IN ROCK

The house is conveniently close to the newsagent and Post Office as well as a butcher, bakery, fishmonger, a small Spar supermarket and the superbly stocked Di's Dairy, Rock's very own delicatessen. There is also a hairdresser, two clothes shops, garage, florist, hardware store and a Doctor's surgery. On the outskirts of nearby Wadebridge is a large out of town Tesco.

RENTAL COSTS

Prices per week for Porthilly Brook vary according to the time of year. They range from £400 per week during low season to £1025 per week during high season.
